This is a slim and elegant triple strand of cultured pearls which are pearls created by the insertion of a speck of sand into an oyster and forming a pearl which may not be not perfectly round, they have slight misshapes. These pearls are new and modern and in a white/ivory shade of pearl. They are roughly 6-7mm in size, so small and dainty. Please see the photos, they look genuine pearls at a glance because of their not perfectly round shape. They have a great lustre which would add a lift to any outfit and reflect light to the face, very flattering, even when wearing a dark coloured top, whether it be smart or casual. The clasp is white metal and quite secure and robust.
These pearls are quite lovely, very tactile and would be eminently suitable for accessorising a classic outfit for formal occasions (a perfect accessory for a Kelly bag!) and would add a touch of understated glamour to a day dress or work suit. These would also look equally at home dressed down with a shirt or sweater and jeans. Everyone should have at least one string of pearls!
