This is a very elegant handbag, it is understated and in excellent almost pristine condition. The black leather exterior has very few marks of use, the single stylish and unusual lift up gilt clasp has no tarnish or loss of gilt and the single handle looks unused (like most handles it is sloping to one side but it will go back into shape after being hung up for a few hours). The inside of the handbag is also in almost pristine condition with no marks or evidence of use, not even a pen mark, just the odd small indentation. It is lined in smooth beige leather with black leather edged slip pockets. The mirror in it's original waxed paper sleeve is still with the handbag. The only caveat to the handbag is that a fine dust escapes from the clasp if the bag is turned upside down or shaken from side to side. This is as a result of a deterioration in the inner lining of the handbag resulting in dust which would settle in the bottom being shaken out where the only exit is at the clasp. This would not be a problem in normal use but if your normal use includes turning cartwheels whilst carrying your handbag then it's probably not for you.
An elegant and stylish, slim leather handbag from a popular high end vintage brand which is in excellent, almost pristine condition with the only caveat being the fine dust which is reflected in the price. It would be suitable for all smart or formal occasions and being black would accessorise most colours in the spectrum.
