This is a gorgeous, almost mint condition handbag from the 60s/70s and a great example of these sought after ostrich embossed leather handbags. This one is in a rare dark taupe colour, most seem to be in a mid tan so nice to find something a bit different. Everything about this bag is in excellent condition almost pristine, there are no issues at all. A fabulous retro gift if you can bear to part with it. We particularly love the star shape of the gilt clasp. The handbag is in a really good size for all essentials. The lining is a virtually spotless pale tan suede, couple of very minor smudges to the slip pocket (please see photos) with a zipped and a leather edged slip pocket. There is no brand label but we are confident it is an Ackery as we have had identical Ackery branded handbags and it's a popular clasp/frame used in Ackery handbags.
