This is a gorgeous, classic and classy dark tan (darker than appers in the photos) leather handbag by high end British brand Garfields in a very dark tan leather with the original sales tag with the description of the colour as 'walnut', and the leather as 'Bark Hide", it also has the price on at £17.96 which would be around £320 today. It is in immaculate condition looks unused. It has a dainty gilt clasp, still shiny with no tarnish or loss of gilt and an attractive pull tab to the front. The bag is made from high quality leather and has great attention to detail. There are no dings or scratches to the leather, the handle is uncreased, firm and looks unused. The handbag is lined in a pale tan suede which is clean and unmarked, there is a purse/wallet pocket secured with a popper with a zipped pocket above and slip pocket behind and two leather edged slip pockets on the other side. The Garfields label is fixed to the lining and the original mirror is still with the handbag.
A gorgeous leather handbag in a classic and timeless design and colour (tan goes with everything, very wearable colour), it's vintage but 'new' and of excellent quality. It's smart enough to be worn anywhere, would complement a vintage or contemporary outfit, looks classic and classy and we love it.
