This is a super little crocodile skin handbag, of great quality and made by British brand Moreware. It is still in excellent condition, with glossy skins with minimal scuffs or cracking. It's quite unusual in that it looks like it's made from strips of crocodile, in almost a harlequin design. The base of the handbag and the handle are both made from the same toning dark chestnut brown as the rest of the handbag but in leather. The frame does have some abrasions and tarnish (It is 80 years old...)but not to an unnacceptable level. The inside of the handbag is lined in a mid tan suede which is free of major marks or stains but it does show some marks of use. The 'Moreware Made in England' label is sewn into the lining. There are crocodile edged slip pockets, usually a sign of quality, and a zipped pocket with croc skin zip pull.
A lovely vintage handbag, in a rich glossy crocodile skin, which is still in great condition. It could be worn anywhere, it's mid range rather than high end but it's smart and classy and in a very attractive and dainty design with the harlequin style panels.
