How elegant is this handbag...we think it is gorgeous, in classic black patent leather, in a slim and elegant shape, with a touch of gilt, from a collectable brand and all in excellent but not quite pristine condition, what's not to love. The patent is very glossy with one small scratch to the back and a slight graze to the front, both of which are available on close inspection and do not detract from the appearance of the clutch. There is a faux lizard panel at the bottom, on both the front and the back of the bag, which adds an attractive touch of detail. The gilt clasp, which is very similar in shape to the Paloma Picasso 'kiss' design for Tiffany, is bright, shiny and untarnished with no loss of gilt. The little gilt end finials add the finishing touch and accentuate the daintiness of the design. The clutch is a true clutch, it does not have a chain strap nor fixings inside for a chain. The bag is lined in black grosgrain which is clean and in excellent condition with no marks or stains. The Ackery label is fixed to the lining above the zipped pocket and there is a further wide slip pocket edged in leather.

It would be perfect for weddings, investitures, garden parties, graduation ceremonies etc but could also be worn as an evening bag with a long gown or tuxedo.
