This is a gorgeous little cute and dainty navy leather clutch bag, with a stylish 'horse bit' gilt rope detail to the front. It is of excellent quality, leather lined and made in Italy. It is also in excellent condition. The leather to the exterior has the odd mark from use and to the front a minor scuff (visible to the right of the main photo) but nothing to detract from the appearance of the bag. We particularly love (as well as the small dainty size) the gilt motif which is very reminiscent of the Gucci bags of the same era and although it is not a Gucci handbag, being made in Italy and leather lined it appears to be of the same quality. The inside is lined in a darker navy leather, slightly softer than the exterior, which is clean with no marks or stains apart from the residue of a label which either had the brand name on or more likely, judging by the size and position of it, the store through which it was sold. There is a label in the same navy leather as the exterior with 'made in Italy' on it. The clutch fastens with a popper.
A super little clutch bag, of excellent quality and condition which would make a very welcome addition to the wardrobe, vintage or otherwise. Despite being vintage it still looks very current and smart enough to wear anywhere. Chic and understated. Love it.
