How fabulous is this is gorgeous dainty and very pretty ostrich skin clutch bag, with optional long shoulder strap. It's in a great colour and size, it's of exquisite quality from collectable high end brand Corbeau and in virtually pristine condition. What's not to love. The long strap enables the bag to be worn as a shoulder bag, or easily removed to wear as a clutch. The bag is in a gorgeous creamy beige ostrich skin, a perfect and versatile colour to accessorise any number of outfits. It is in a really dainty and elegant shape but in a large size, with lots of detail and with an unusual dainty gilt metal trim to the front. No issues to the outside it is lovely. The gilt trim has no marks from age and use, is still shiny and has minimal loss of gilt. The inside is lined in a creamy beige suede with zipped and slip pockets. The lining is spotless with little or no evidence of use. The handbag has the brand label Corbeau fixed to the lining. This German company started out as Corbeu Curio in the early C20th specialising in exotic skin handbags but later dropped the more rare exotic skins and the name Curio for less endangered species of exotic skins, so this is a later handbag we believe from the 60s /70s. It is clearly a high end handbag, of superb quality and displaying excellent workmanship. The gilt detail to the front is particularly attractive and very dainty, the icing on the cake.
