This is a fabulous handbag, in virtually pristine condition, of superb quality and from a high end brand, what's not to love. It's a very pretty handbag in a very dainty shape, with a rigid top handle and a delightful gilt clasp in the shape of a little padlock. The leather is all excellent, a slight suggestion of a crease to one corner but the rest is superb. The handle looks unused and there are no scuffs or scratches. The gilt is still shiny but there is some age related loss of gilt to the clasp, visible in the photos. The inside doesn't disappoint either, the inside of the flap is lined in buttersoft suede with the inside of the handbag lined in a matching coloured grosgrain which is in immaculate condition with no marks or stains. There are two sections with a zipped compartment between. The label stating it's a Lederer handbag made for Russell & Bromley is fixed to the lining.
This is a gorgeous handbag, elegant and sophisticated, dainty and pretty, in superb condition and in a very wearable and understated colour. It would be perfect as an 'occasion' handbag and smart enough to be worn to even the most formal of events. It is classic and classy and would be a wardrobe staple brought out time and again for weddings, christenings and other special occasions. We love it.
