This is a beautiful long mink stole in excellent condition with no shedding of hairs, no vintage odour, nor any tears or splits to the silk lining, the main flaws normally found in minks from the 40s to the 60s era when fur coats and stoles were at their most popular. The wearing of a vintage fur stole evokes that much more glamorous era but fortunately they are currently enjoying a slight fashion revival. This one is quite lovely, it is longer than most at 72" and wider at 14" from nape of neck to hem, so quite a snuggly size and generous enough to wrap around the waist or across the shoulder. The stole is shaped to fit over the shoulders. The fur itself is in shades of golden and darker brown, the nearest to the true colour being the ones directly below. The fur itself is silky smooth and soft. The lining is plain brown silk with no initials or detail at all, simple and elegant, it is in excellent condition with no discolouration or tears or other any other damage often found on vintage furs.
