How glamorous and fabulous is this gorgeous, opulent and luxurious clutch bag! Perfect for day (smart day!) occasion wear or evening wear, we love it. It is in excellent condition with minimal signs of age or use. The exterior is a type of devoré or figured velvet with bands of silky braid on what looks like an almost matt silk satin or cotton satin fabric base which has a slight sheen. This fabric also covers the frame and is inset into the gilt handle, it also forms a little hand strap on the back. The clutch closes with a clip over gilt clasp which is still in excellent condition, still shiny with no tarnish or loss of gilt. The clutch bag is lined in a deep burgundy wine satin, which is clean with no marks or stains. There are four slip pockets to the lining. No brand name nor clues as to its origin but it's a good quality handbag, reminiscent of Roberto Di Camerino.
