This is a vintage pale tan leather handbag in a faux ostrich imprint leather from well known and collectable company Holmes of Norwich. It is of excellent quality and in pristine condition, looks unused. The round ball gilt clasp is gorgeous, still bright and shiny with minimal spots of age related loss of gilt, visible only on close inspection. The exterior square top bar of the frame of the handbag is faux ostrich covered and the gilt frame where visible is bright and shiny with no tarnish or abrasions. The twin top handles are secure and firm with no creasing or wear, look unused. The lining of this handbag is a pale tan suede, unusual as most Holmes bags are grosgrain lined. The Holmes of Norwich logo is embossed in gold on a leather label sewn into the lining. The lining, as can be seen from the photos is in immaculate condition, looks unused. There is one zipped and two leather edged full width slip pockets.
