A classic 80s burgundy red calf leather shoulder bag/handbag which is in excellent, almost pristine condition with classic 80s horsebit gilt clasp. It's gorgeous, of excellent quality and really elegant. It's quite similar to the Gucci handbags of the same era and of the same quality. If you have a hankering for the 80s, big hair, big shoulders, piecrust/pussy bow blouses with Daks/Burberry pleated skirts then this is the perfect accessory for you. Fine calf leather isn't as forgiving of marks and scuffs so there are minor marks from use but they aren't too noticeable (please see photos) and it's clear the handbag has had very little use. The handle is uncreased, the gilt clasp has no tarnish just a slight diminution of gilt and the leather itself still in uncreased condition. There is an open slip pocket on the back of the bag, useful for tickets and invitations. The inside is immaculate, a few scuffs (please see photos) but with no marks or stains. it is lined in a very soft leather in the same burgundy and has numerous compartments and a zipped pocket. It comes with a matching leather zipped purse in the same soft leather. No brand name but this quality would have been very expensive back in the day.
