A large, iconic vintage 70s handbag, with striking gilt clasp, in a warm chocolate brown suede, perfect for the Autumn/Winter season, what's not to love! It's slim but large enough for all essentials. The condition of this handbag is excellent, almost pristine, it looks little used if at all and there are no marks to the suede that we can see. The gilt faux clasp detail is in a very striking wishbone style and in excellent condition with minimal abrasions, no loss of gilt and no tarnish. The handbag fastens with a popper underneath the wishbone 'clasp'. The handle is uncreased, looks unused and is just long enough for the bag to be worn over the shoulder. The lining of the handbag doesn't disappoint either, it is lined in light tan mottled leather, which is clean and looks unused, with just the odd mark and one tiny nick to a slip pocket (please see the photos). There are two slip pockets and a zipped pocket. There is no brand label. There's a cute little matching suede coin purse (if anyone uses coins these day?!?) also in excellent condition.
This is a gorgeous handbag, in a large size, which is in excellent, virtually pristine condition, it is of good quality and in a great colour, large enough for all essentials (fits a standard size iPad) and is easily robust enough to be used on a regular basis. These don't come up often, especially with such a striking clasp, so a great find. Large enough for essentials and a perfect and individual gift for her.
