This is a most unusual and very large classic 50s style handbag, by royal warrant holder Bagcraft. It is unusual in that it is made from faux leather, with a chrome frame and interior lining in a brushed synthetic fabric to resemble suede. The handbag is in excellent, almost pristine condition, looks unused and with little evidence of age related wear, and minimal tarnish, just a few spots to the chrome frame and no scratches, most frames of the time were gilt. We think it must date from the 50s/60s when lots of bags were made in the new era of plastics. As it comes from a brand holding a royal warrant, the quality is excellent. Very few marks to the exterior and a clean and fresh interior so obviously well stored over the years. The lining bears the brand label and the customary zipped and slipped pockets.
