This is an elegant vintage handbag in a stone beige leather with black patent mock straps, in an unusual style similar to a mini Gladstone or doctor's bag with its leather covered small rigid handle. It is very stylish, of excellent quality and in excellent condition. The front of the handbag is particularly attractive with two row of decorative black patent faux 'straps'. The leather covered handle is also unusual to find on this style of dainty handbag but is in excellent condition with minimal marks to the leather. One of the the nice details of the bag is the fixings to the handles where they attach to the frame of the bag. The handbag is not far off pristine condition, there are a few tiny nicks near the top by the clasp but not noticeable except on close inspection. The frame is gilt and in excellent shiny condition with minimal loss of gilt and only minor abrasions to the the inside.The handbag is lined in pale tan suede which is unmarked, with slip pockets including a lipstick pocket and a zipped pocket. No label but it is a quality handbag which would have been expensive 'back in the day'.
This is an absolutely super classic and classy vintage handbag in a rare design and very wearable colours, it's in excellent condition and really eye catching. It is dainty but in a great size to use as an 'occasion' handbag but can also be dressed down. It is perfect for mother of the bride(or groom) and would be suitable to wear to any event, however smart. Über stylish we love it. Perfect gift for her.
