A delightful 60s/70s vintage rich yellow leather clutch/shoulder bag, with long leather shoulder strap, in excellent condition. It has a black silky monogrammed lining and made in England by Jane Shilton, a brand from 'back in the day' which has moved with the times and is still making handbags today. It's a great quality clutch/shoulder bag, with an attractive gilt and leather clip over clasp in the shape of a leaf and a leather covered frame. The yellow leather is in excellent condition with virtually no marks or scuffs from use. As often happens with these JS bags there is minor dust inside the handbag from the inner lining which doesn't affect the look or use of the bag. It's in a very rare colour, in excellent quality buttersoft leather. The gilt on the clasp and frame is still shiny with only minimal loss of gilt, scratches or tarnish. The black silky grosgrain lining with the Jane Shilton monogram woven into the fabric is clean with no marks of use.
