This is a very eyecatching and attractive large black leather bag, with the gorgeous white lucite trim from sought after high end British brand Lodix. This one is not in the usual pearlescent leather but solid black calf leather which contrasts beautifully with the rare white Lucite top bar feature. It's in a lovely, tactile curved shape and in very good to excellent condition but not pristine, with slight tarnish to the gilt in places, not really noticeable because of the lucite. There are some marks from age and use to the outside but not enough to spoil the overall look of the handbag. The single handle is still firm and strong, no creasing to the top, slight softening of the leather where it joins the handbag so it won't stand unsupported. The base is protected by gilt studs. The handbag is lined in a dark taupe/mushroom suede which has a couple of pen marks and is a little tired from age but is clean with no major marks or stains. The name Lodix and the company motto 'handbags of taste' is embossed in gilt on the lining.
A large and eye catching classic handbag, from a quality brand with a gorgeous white lucite frame, what's not to love. It's been used and loved and we think as a classic and timeless handbag it could accessorise smart or formal contemporary outfits, as well as vintage 50s/60s outfits for Goodwood Revival, Twinwood etc (whenever they're allowed to be held again...).
It is 11" x 10.5" x 4"
