The outside is patent leather with a fabric textured appearance, it is in pristine condition, no scratches or scrapes. There's a pretty and dainty gilt clasp and leather covered top bar aand the gilt frame where visible, is as new. There are no marks or stains to the clean buff coloured suede lining. The handles are uncreased and look unused. There is a slip pocket and zipped pocket inside with the label 'Suzy Smith Elegance in Leather made in England'. If it has been used, it's been used and stored very carefully.
