A beautiful and über stylish black patent leather bag, by our favourite vintage brand Waldybag and made in England. It is in a rare design with a rigid leather covered single top handle and top bar, a satchel style fold over flap and a gorgeous dainty and ladylike twisted rope design gilt clasp, which we absolutely love. The handbag sides and base are soft bodied and unstructured and the handle folds flat for easy storage. The handbag is in excellent condition and of excellent quality, as expected of a brand worn by HM the Queen. There are minimal abrasions to the patent leather (please see photos) minimal loss of gilt to the clasp and gilt handle fixings and no tarnish. The handbag flap is lined underneath in black leather and the remainder is lined in pale cream suede which shows some signs of use but is clean with no marks or stains. The Waldybag label is fixed to the lining along with the upmarket jeweller's, Pidduck Hanley, label.
