This is a stunning midnight blue leather handbag in excellent, almost pristine condition by Lodix, a high end vintage British brand which made beautiful handbags, often in pearlescent or patent leather in unusual colours and designs. The company motto was 'Handbags of Taste' and we can't argue with that. This handbag has been hardly used, if at all, and any minor issues have been caused by bad storage. This is a case where the photos speak for themselves, little evidence of use as everything is clean especially the suede lining but there are dings from bad storage where the handbag has rested against other items, leaving an imprint paticularly on the back of the bag. These should lessen with warmth and use and we have photographed it so that the 'dings' show at their worst. It has no scratches or scuffs and the handle is uncreased and as new. No tarnish or loss of shine to the gilt frame. The Lodix name is sewn into the leather panel on the lining and the adorable litle matching purse is pristine and still with the handbag.
A fabulous vintage Lodix handbag of taste, dainty rare and unusual it would complement any outfit, vintage or contemporary and is probably unique. Of excellent quality so smart enough to be worn anywhere. We love it.
