A gorgeous black patent leather classic bag, in a dainty design, from top end brand Riviera. It has two useful outside slip pockets and a dainty curve shaped top with a gorgeous tactile ball shaped gilt clasp. Alas it has been well used over the past 60+ years and has the scars to prove it. Scratches and scuffs to the patent leather, cracks and splits where the handles join the handbag (handles still secure as the inner core is intact), loss of gilt to the clasp and pen marks to the lining. But we love Riviera handbags, for the quality and design, so thought it's a shame not to give it a second chance with someone new. The inside is clean apart from pen marks, so although it's been well used we wouldn't say it's been abused and the signs of quality are there with the black patent leather edged slip pockets and the black leather Riviera label.
A gorgeous dainty handbag of excellent quality in a classic design by top end brand Riviera. Not heirloom condition but perfect if it's for casual wear, dressing up in period costume, or for vintage events or parties. Get the look for less with a bag you needn't be precious about.
