An elegant dainty classic 50s/60s black patent leather top handle bag, with a leather pull tab detail to the front, in very good condition, very stylish, very Jackie O, Audrey Hepburn and very on trend and from top end brand brand Widegate, as sold through Harrods.
Very good condition patent leather, minimal scuffing, minimal loss of shine (please see photos). Leather handle, firm,strong and uncreased, little evidence of use and leather pull tab trim to the front, dainty and elegant. Elegant gilt clasp and top bar with patent leather inset detail. Side gussets in leather to prevent cracking and a nice boxy shape. It'suitable for day or evening wear. The inside lined in a silky black grosgrain fabric, clean with no marks from age/use and has a zipped pocket and slip pockets (some discolouration inside the zipped pocket). The Widegate label is sewn into the lining.
