This is a super handbag in a glorious bright lipstick red leather by Debroyal, which was the own label brand name of the department store Debenham and Freebody which became Debenhams. It is in excellent but not pristine condition as there are a couple of small scratches to the surface on the front and back of the handbag, not enough to spoil the look of the handbag and the front one is not visible at a glance, the worst scratch being on the back. In all other respects the handbag is in clean and barely used, well looked after condition. The handles are uncreased and look new, the gilt hardware is still very shiny with no tarnish or scratches. Inside, the handbag is lined in a mid tan suede which is clean with no marks or stains. There is a zipped pocket and a slip pocket which is edged in red leather. The Debroyal label with 'Exclusive made for Debenhams' printed on it, is fixed to the lining.
This is a classic and very desirable lipstick red leather handbag, of excellent quality and in excellent condition from a well known brand. It is smart enough to wear anywhere, to weddings, christenings etc and would look great with anything from a little black or navy suit to a floral summer frock. It is priced to reflect the fact it has a couple of scratches so not pristine but it is still a very sought after handbag as red Kelly bags in such excellent condition are few and far between.
