This is a large and stylish handbag from our favourite Waldybag brand, which is in excellent condition. One of it's best features is that it has an absolutely beautiful silk lining. They don't make them like this any more. The lizard skin to the exterior is in excellent condition to both back and front with no marks, scuffs or scratches. Each side of the handbag is one large piece of fine lizard skin. The handles are firm and intact, with no wear. The gilt clasp is shiny and untarnished apart from one small spot of discolouration on close inspection. The lining has a large section lined in a tobacco silk and a smaller section in a peach silk. Both sections of the lining show some evidence of use, small indentations, the odd scuff and a couple of faint red pen marks on the peach silk but they are clean with no major marks or stains. Apart from the divided sections there is a long zipped pocket and a couple of slip pockets.The Waldybag name is embossed in gilt on the lining above one of the slip pockets.

It is suitable for smart or casual wear but too robust and large for evening wear. We love the surprise lining as it looks from the exterior appearance as though it ought to be suede. Never judge a handbag by it's cover.
