Vintage 60's taupe patent kelly bag with suede lining

This is an elegant kelly bag in pristine condition with no wear externally and a beautifully pristine pale suede lining.The exterior has twin handles and a patent covered top bar with gilt end finials and very attractive gilt clasp. The gilt decoration and frame are in excellent untarnished condition. Despite there not being any gilt studs to protect it the base is also in excellent condition with no scuffs.The suede lining has a fully working zipped pocket and a slip pocket.
This handbag is lovely, it has no brand name, the frame is stamped 'elbief' which was a Birmingham company which made frames for a number of handbag companies so it is almost certainly made in England. It is very much an occasion bag and would be perfect for weddings, Christenings or other formal events and the neutral colour makes it quite versatile for lots of different coloured outfits.
