Very stylish handbag from the perennially popular Holmes of Norwich brand.This handbag is in a rich bronze faux snakeskin patent in excellent condition externally with no bashes to corners or scratches,abrasions or wear to the handles.The handbag has an attractive patent covered top bar in an unusual raised design.The gilt clasp and frame have not fared as well as the rest of the exterior and does have some tarnishing, through age rather than use,and some minor scratches from use to the inside of the frame.The pale cream grosgrain lining is basically clean but does have a number of brown age spots as seen in the photos which is a shame because it is a very attractive handbag which has had very little use and without the tarnish and age spots would be pristine.
Overall a great looking vintage Kelly bag, which is large enough for all essentials but not heirloom quality.
I would say, because of the age marks inside, not gift quality but for yourself a great little bag to accessorise those 'Mad Men' curves.By the time all your 'stuff' is inside who can see the lining.
