This is a super handbag in excellent, virtually pristine condition from Garfields, a high end vintage brand which was made in England and stocked in high end stores including Harrods and other quality leather goods stores so he quality of the design and materials is therefore assured. This one is in a very smooth fine grain leather which is in fantastic condition, having survived the years with only very very minimal scratches or scuffs, even to the base and corners and at a glance looks a brand new handbag. There is no loss of gilt whatsoever to the absolutely gorgeous and very unusual super shiny gilt clasp. The handles themselves have no creasing and look unused. The handbag has a centre stitched detail to the front which makes it look dainty and elegant and a little out of the ordinary. The base is protected by gilt stud feet. Inside there is one full width zipped pockets. The lining is a pale stone coloured suede which is clean with no marks or stains. The brand name Garfields is on the label fixed to the lining above the pocket.
This is an elegant and stylish handbag with an absolutely exquisite gilt clasp, it's from a high end brand, in excellent almost pristine condition and suitable to be worn anywhere, however exalted, including weddings, Christenings and investitures.
