This is a gorgeous large 60s bag from Freedex, in a creamy ivory pearlescent colour with unusual lucite frame and clasp and even more unusual plaited handle. It's larger than these style handbags normally are so quite capacious. It's in excellent condition with no cracks to the lucite and only minimal marks to the exterior visible on close inspection. The inside is lined in ivory grosgrain in a watered silk effect and clean apart from a couple of dark stains visible in the photos. The name Freedex is sewn into the lining.
A super, really unusual and glamorous looking handbag, with rare plaited handle and lucite frame, from collectable brand Freedex. It's also a useful large size. It would be perfect for vintage events but we also thinks it would make a really nice handbag for weddings and other smart events.It looks the part but whether it would be suitable for a gift depends on the recipient because of the stains to the lining.
