This is a really eyecatching late 70s early 80s patchwork leather handbag in iconic 70s colours and design (patchwork leather bags very poular at the time) in excellent, virtually pristine condition. It is a soft sided unstructured handbag which is in a good size for everyday use and very stylish. The back and base are plain brown soft excellent quality leather with a useful zipped pocket to the back. The handles are of the same leather and the front is a patchwork of leather and suede, in warm colours of brown, red mustard and olive green. The inside has two separate compartments fastened with magnetic poppers, the back one with a zipped pocket and to the centre of those compartments is a full width zipped compartment. So plenaty of room for all essentials and easy to find! The lining is a black silky fabric with the Jane Shilton name woven into the fabric, the name is also on a leather tab sewn into the lining.
A gorgeous bag, very eye catching and an iconic 70s piece. A useful size for every day use and we think could be dressed up (think boho style weddings) or down for casual or everyday wear. We love it. Perfect gift for her.
