This is an absolutely exquisite, dainty and ladylike little iconic vintage 60s Monitor, or ring lizard skin handbag, in a grey and creamy gold colour skin, in a gorgeous boxy Jackie O style, by top en end brand Rendl. It is in excellent condition, almost pristine throughout and from a sought after collectable brand, what's not to love! There are virtually no issues at all with this handbag, it is in excellent condition throughout with beautiful glossy supple skins and a smooth black, calf leather lined interior. It has decorative stitching near the herringbone lift up gilt clasp to the front, with attractive and symetric markings to the lizard skin. The clasp itself is a particularly attractive feature of the handbag in an intricate herringbone design with no loss of shine or tarnish. The rigid metal handles are lizard skin covered, secure and with no nicks or lifting of the skins. The handbag is lined in fine black calf leather, with slip pockets, some edged in gold piping, a zipped pocket and matching black leather coin purse on a gilt chain. The lining is clean with minimal scuffs as signs of previous use. The brand name Rendl and original is embossed in gilt above the zipped pocket. The colour is slightly more golden than cream as apears in the photos.
