A fabulous dainty little handbag in an unusual and attractive curved top design and with a very attractive gilt pull up clasp to the front to open the handbag. The gilt frame is lizard skin covered to the exterior and the gilt in excellent condition where visible inside, bright and with no abrasions or tarnish. The lizard skins to the exterior of the handbag are in a rich glossy deep red and in pristine condition, there are no scratches or scuffs or other signs of wear to front, back or base of the handbag. The handle is firm and looks unused with no creasing or discolouration, the gilt fixings have minimal loss of gilt and no tarnish.The inside of the handbag is in also excellent condition, lined in mid tan suede with very minor signs of use but is clean with no marks or stains. There are slip pockets edged in red lizard skin and a wide band of lizard skin hiding the zipped pocket, mirroring the band of lizard skin lining the opposite side protecting the suede lining from marks from fingers, an amazing attention to detail that marks this out as a really high end handbag. No label or brand but is is clearly an excellent top quality handbag and posssibly made in France.
A gorgeous looking dainty handbag, of excellent quality, with lots of nice detail to the exterior and interior and in a rich glossy lizard skin, what's not to love! It could be worn for any occasion, however smart and would add a lift to sombre colours but would also complement Spring and Summer colours pinks, creams and florals. It is also in a great size to accommodate all essentials but not too large to be dressy and worn for evening. A handbag of this quality bought today would be a four figure sum.
