This is gorgeous ostrich skin clutch bag, with a long heavy weight quality chain which is detachable. It's in a great colour and size, of exquisite quality, from a collectable high end brand Corbeau Curio and in excellent virtually pristine condition. The bag is in a crisp white ostrich skin which is rare to find, especially in such great condition. A perfect colour to accessorise any number of outfits. It is in an elegant slim shape but in a good size for all essentials, with a nice detail, the gilt metal motif to the front. No issues to the outside, the gilt trim has no marks from age or use, is still shiny and has minimal loss of gilt. The inside is lined in a mid tan suede with one slip pocket. The lining is spotless with little or no evidence of use. The handbag has the brand label Corbeau fixed to the lining. This German company started out as Corbeau Curio in the early C20th specialising in exotic skin handbags but later dropped the more rare exotic skins and the word Curio became smaller or disappeared altogether on the labels for less endangered species of exotic skins, so this is a later handbag we believe from the 60s /70s. It is clearly a high end handbag, of superb quality and displaying excellent workmanship. The gilt detail to the front is particularly attractive.
