This is a very classy looking vintage 80s/ 90s black patent leather handbag, embossed with a faux crocodile skin imprint, from world renowned store Harrods. It's a lovely quality handbag and in excellent condition, looks seldom used and very well looked after. The mirror finish, high shine patent leather is in excellent condition with only very minor marks from age or use onclose inspection. A particularly nice feature is the clasp which is in gilt and silvertone metal, very attractive and still very shiny with no tarnish or scratches. The shoulder strap extends long enough to be worn as a cross body bag if required. The strap is firm and strong with no creasing or evidence of use. Inside the bag there are very minor scuffs to the underneath of the flap (please see photos) which are hardly noticeable in reality. The handbag has semi rigid dividers with three separate inside compartments, containing zipped and slip pockets. The handbag is lined in black which is clean with no marks or stains or scuffs from use other than those under the flap over. The label with the Harrods name in gilt is fixed to the lining.
A beautiful vintage Harrods black patent leather faux crocodile handbag, of excellent quality and in excellent condition. It could be dressed up or down and is smart enough to wear anywhere, it's quality at a glance and in a generous size for all essentials. Perfect gift for her (or yourself!) and a wardrobe staple.
