A simple and elegant black patent leather classic handbag, in a medium size by top end vintage brand Waldybag. It has a black leather handle(uncreased and looks unused) and a leather covered top bar. It has a rare gilt side opener, a small gilt lever which twists to open the handbag. It is in excellent virtually pristine condition, looks quite unused. The side gussets are leather,the same as the handle, with no dings or scuffs or to corners of the bag. The inside is clean with little evidence of use, it's in a pale fine quality suede with the Waldybag name embossed in gilt on the lozenge shaped patent panel. This would have been a very expensive handbag 'back in the day', one of the flagship Waldybags, superb design and workmanship in premium materials.
