This is a stylish handbag, in a very rare sunny yellow with white accents from Rayne, high end renowned brand which held a royal warrant from Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth and also made the shoes for her Majesty's wedding in 1947. So if the brand was good enough for HM the Queen... This is in pristine condition to the exterior, looks infrequently used, the pearlescent leather has no scuffs, scratches or dings and looks immaculate, with the base protected by gilt studs. We love the white leather accent strips to the front and the dark gilt clasp which is still shiny with no loss of gilt .The handle is uncreased and we love the way it's lined underneath in white leather. The handbag is lined in a pale yellow silk with two slip pockets, a zipped pocket with key ring and it still retains the matching silk coin purse. The lining has suffered from quite a lot of foxing, so although it is clean and free of marks or stains, apart from the odd scuff, the foxing is what stops it being described as in pristine condition throughout. The name Rayne is embossed in gilt on the leather of the lining.
This is a gorgeous handbag, classic and classy, eye catching and stylish and from a top end brand so excellent quality too. It is quintissentially 60s in colour and style and immaculate condition to the exterior, what's not to love! It would add a touch of class to any outfit, vintage or contemporary and perfect for weddings and other smart occasions. These don't come along often, especially in this very sought after colour so snap up this little ray of sunshine. A new handbag of this quality made today would cost a four figure sum.
Perfect gift for her.
