An elegant 60s/70s classic vintage leather handbag, in smooth tobacco brown leather by high end vintage British handbag company Waldybag, which made handbags for HM the late Queen Elizabeth and other royals. It is in excellent condition, made in England. This is a beautiful example of one of the larger Waldybags. It is beautifully made and in almost pristine condition with a gorgeous brown silk lining and matching coin purse. The simple gilt clasp is understated and in bright untarnished condition. The exterior of the handbag is excellent, it looks quite like new, the handles are firm and strong with no cracking and we love the shaped top and the grosgrain detail to the curved top at the front, a nice attention to detail. The silk lining is in excellent condition, no major marks or stains just small indentations, signs of gentle use. The Waldybag name is attached above the familiar array of slip pockets. It is a decent size for all essentials and a great colour to accessorise most outfits.
