This is a mottled burgundy red patent leather handbag from Lotus and made in Great Britain, it's a lovely handbag and in great condition. It's in a classic elegant shape and of good quality, as sold through department stores and shoe shops, often with matching shoes. The handbag looks barely used if at all, and at a glance looks brand new but on very close inspection (please see photos) the patent has dulled slightly to more of a glacé finish and through bad storage has picked up a few marks from items placed close to it, and a few minor creases near and on the base. In all other respects it's in pristine condition. The handles are uncreased, the elegant and unusual gilt clasp still super shiny and the gilt frame has no signs of age or use. The inside doesn’t disappoint either, the light tan suede lining is in pristine condition, it is clean with no marks or stains, looks unused. There is a slip pocket and a zipped pocket behind it. The 'Match-Makers by Lotus Made in Great Britain' label is still fixed to the lining.
