Exquisite brown calf leather in a faux crocodile design Mappn & Webb ladies purse, with the MW logo in gilt to the front. It dates from the 80s era, when M&W still sold classic leather handbags and leather accessories for men and women which were made in England and are now very sought after. This vintage but new purse is of excellent quality as would be expected of a Mappin & Webb item, and in new condition, unused with no age related wear. The purse has a wallet section for notes/cards and a purse for coins with a gilt kisslock clasp. Inside the purse the name Mappin & Webb embossed in gilt on the leather.
