This is a beautiful period clutch bag in a rich brown leather, with the original coin purse on a chain, from high end brand Waldybag. It is achingly stylish and looks vintage at a glance. It is in excellent condition with little age related, or use related wear, it has been used but also looked after. We particularly love the Art Nouveau style swirl detail to the front of the clutch and the huge coin purse, very useable, almost make up bag size! The back of the bag has a glove strap. The inside is lined in a pale pigskin leather with slip pockets on either side. There is some age and use related loss of surface colour to the lining near the popper fastening (pictured) but not enough to detract from the bag as the rest of the lining is clean and otherwise free of any marks or stains, remarkable in a bag of this age. The Waldybag logo, one of the earliest, is embossed in gilt on the lining.
