This is gorgeous little clutch bag in a thick, excellent quality leather, in a gorgeous dark gold/ bronze colour. It is in excellent condition both inside and out. The leather is in excellent condition, unmarked apart from a small dark mark near the clasp on the back where the gold has worn off slightly (please see photos) but there are no scratches or scuffs to the leather even to the corners. The top of the frame by the clasp has an inset of padded leather which gives a luxurious touch. The gilt kisslock clasp is gorgeous, still shiny gilt but with insets of leather, a sign of attention to detail and quality. The frame itself where visible inside the bag, has no tarnish, scratches or loss of gilt. The inside of the bag is lined in a brown grosgrain fabric with 'Jane Shilton' woven into the fabric and which is pristine but does have the dreaded dust which comes from the breakdown of the card inner lining between the leather and the grosgrain lining. Just shake it befre use. It has one zipped pocket with a label sewn into the lining with the name Jane Shilton and Genuine Leather.
