This is an adorable little Chinese embroidered silk evening or occasion bag, perfect for Spring and Summer, in a beautiful rich turquoise silk fabric with a design of flowers in reds and gold. The bag is a dainty almost square shape with a littl pull tab to the front, edged in gold silk piping which matches the gold piping areound the edges of the bag and the gold silk interior. It is in excellent condition, not pristine, there are a few marks/scuffs of use near the gilt clasp, it has obviously been used. The handles are firm, strong and increased and the gilt frame has minimal marks from use and no tarnish, with a dainty and tiny unobtrusive gilt clasp. The inside is a spotless dark gold silk with several slip pockets, no brand name but we believe it was bought in the Far East 'back in the day'.
A gorgeous, dainty little handbag, in a vibrant turquoise colour silk with floral Chinese design, in excellent condition and very wearable to give a pop of colour and a lift to an evening dress or an 'occasion' outfit. Perfect gift for her.
