Vintage 1950s/60s Lodix Green Lizard Skin Classic Ladylike Handbag, Top Handle Bag, Made In England

This is a fabulous green lizard skin Lodix handbag which is very rare green coloured lizard skin and in almost mint condition.It is a classy, understated and elegant handbag. Lodix is a great British brand and this is slightly different fro the usual pearlised leather ones. The handbag has been hardly used, if at all. The lizard skin is in excellent condition, the twin handles look unused and are uncreased, the top bar is covered in unmarked lizard skin and the lift up clasp, a design often found on other exotic skin handbags but not usually Lodix, gives the bag a streamlined understated look. The base is similarly in unmarked condition. The condition of the inside of the handbag doesn't disappoint either, it is lined in pale tan suede, with only a few marks from use. The only issue with he whole handbag is that the zip has been removed from the zipped pocket, presumably because as is often the case, the zip was stuck. This is not really an issue unless one needs a zipped pocket or th handbag is destined to be a gift but even then it is vintage and the pluses outweigh this minus point. The slip pockets are edged in green lizard skin. The Lodix name is embossed in gilt on the leather label. 

This is a gorgeous, excellent quality handbag in almost mint condition from a sought after brand, what's not to love! It's in a very rare green colour lizard skin which is hard to find these unusual colours and in such great condition. This handbag could be worn with myriad colours and is very eye catching. It is a handbag which cannot be bought on the high street without spending a four figgure sum for a lizard skin bag of this quality, it's also an excellent size for a formal handbag. Looked after, it should last another 60+ years. Perfect to wear anywhere
