This is gorgeous dainty little crocodile skin handbag in rare caramel colour by high end brand Riviera, made in England for top end department store 'back in the day' Marshall and Snelgrove. The colour is a gorgeous rich golden caramel, it is excellent condition, well looked after but not pristine. The premium cut porosus crocodile skins are in excellent condition, glossy with no splitting or cracking, minimal wear to the handles, and minimal rubbing to corners. The gilt clasp has some age related discolouration which is not too noticeable owing to the shape of the bag and the caramel colour. The attractive gilt handle fixings, which are quite rare, add to the luxe appearance. Outside the handbag there are two slip pockets lined in grosgrain fabric on either side of the bag, a few marks to the lining but nothing nasty and one zipped pocket. The inside of the handbag is in similarly excellent condition with a cream leather lining, crocodile edged slip pockets and a zipped pocket, all in clean condition with no stains but with some dings from use to the leather. The Riviera label with 'Made for Marshall and Snelgrove' is fixed to the lining above the zipped pocket.
This is a gorgeous, dainty little crocodile skin handbag, in excellent condition, in a fabulous colour and with the gilt handbag fixings taking it out of the ordinary. It would accessorise day or evening wear and and would last a lifetime of weddings, Christenings and other special occasions without rushing off to the high street to find the perfect bag - you already have it.
