This is a very dainty and elegant, quality 50s bag in excellent condition. The leather is thick with an attractive grain and the front has an attractive stitched border detail. The only issue to the exterior of the handbag is a small area on the base where the surface has a small area of damage, the rest of the leather is in lovely condition with no scratches or scuffs. The handle is firm and intact with no signs of wear and the gilt of the cute little clasp and handle fixings is in excellent condition with minimal tarnish. The rest of the frame is leather covered. There are two outer slip pockets. The handbag is lined in a thick pale grey suede, in pristine condition, clean with no marks, not even the pen variety. There is a zipped pocket, a slip pocket and a leather label sewn in with 'Real leather' in gilt embossed on it. There is no brand label on the handbag and we don't recognise which brand it may be but it is a good quality, heavy weight handbag and looks classy and understated.
This is a very smart little handbag, too small for everyday use but perfect for evenings out, or for special occasions where an elegant little handbag is called for. It looks stylish and the stitched detail, single handle and dainty clasp take it out of the ordinary Kelly bag to something a bit special.
