This is a dainty little scarf in the Liberty iconic peacock feather design which is one of their most popular and recognised designs. A version of it is still produced today and on sale in Liberty (we have one of the newer versions in red) but this is the vintage version. The colours in the scarf are deeper and more vibrant than they appear in the photos, the border is a deep rust/orange colour and the pattern is in creams and rust on a black background. This one is in excellent condition but not pristine. There are a few stress marks on the scarf around the borders which take it out of the pristine category but there are no stains or marks or pulled threads. The name Liberty is woven into the scarf and there is also a fabric label with the name Liberty sewn onto the hem. The scarf has a machine stitched hem which is intact.
