This is an absolutely gorgeous 50s Spotlite brand, made in the USA, chenille velvet tapestry effect top handle handbag, it's big bold and eye catching and in very wearable colours of black, beige, rust gold and taupe. It is well made and in excellent condition. There is little evidence of age related wear or use, it's obviously been well looked after. There is minimal tarnish to the gilt clasp and frame, please see photos. Front and back are in velvet chenille in a tapestry design on black fabric with the base sides, handle and front inset trim near the clasp in black faux leather. The inside is lined in a black silky satin which is clean with minimal signs of use. The brand Spotlite is embossed in gilt on the lining. There is a zipped and slip pocket.
