This is a beautiful Liberty of London scarf in iconic 'Hera' peacock design, the design most closely associated with the Liberty brand and dating from the 1890s. This scarf is in pristine condition, no evidence of use at all. It is made in Italy from a diaphanous gossamer fine silk fabric, in a very wearable combination of taupe brown and pale gold. It has a hand rolled hem and is absolutely beautiful and in a good size to be worn as a headscarf, or around the shoulders or as a neckerchief. All labels remain attached to the scarf.
