This is a gorgeous vintage lipstick red leather dolly bag from the 60s or 70s we believe, not as old as the 50s. It's a dainty little handbag in rare red leather and in excellent condition, virtually pristine. It is very cute and small yet the very soft leather and soft sides and base allows more capacity for belongings. It's in excellent condition throughout, minimal scuffs to the leather and a firm handle. The leather has hardly a scuff, even to corners and the gilt clasp is a particular feature, a very pretty and intricate design with no loss of gilt, the rest of the gilt frame is in similarly excellent condition. The inside of the bag is lined in a black grosgrain fabric, with one wide slip pocket, it is clean with no marks or stains, it’s in lovely condition looks hardly used. There is no brand label but the frame has the LBF stamp, it's good quality and well made so probably made in Britain.
