This is a most unusual and attractive navy and red dolly bag style, soft sided twin handled double clasp handbag. It's nicely made, we think probably American and really stylish. It looks as though two separate handbags have been stuck together with the two pretty heart shaped clasps and two wholly separate compartments with straps and buckles keeping them together on the back of the bag (we said it was unusual). The faux leather is in excellent condition, minimal scuffs or scratches, there is some tarnish to the gilt clasps but it is vintage and we don't think it materially affects the look of the handbag. The inside of both of the compartments is lined in navy grosgrain and although it is clean it looks quite discoloured because the glue fixing the lining to the exterior has hardend over the years and shows up as darker strips to the lining on close inspection but is more easily noticeable in the photos below.
So, a very stylish and unusual handbag in dolly bag style, in a great colour combination, not leather and not high end but nice quality. Quite capacious with the two compartments and it can be dressed up or down, casual, smart, vintage or contemporary. We haven't seen another like it and we're sure you won't!
